Rose Challenge

Oil 6x6
Well...this was a challenge indeed!  I am posting this for the Daily Paintworks Challenge for the week.  I think it was my 4th try.  I had never painted a rose before AND I'm trying oil instead of acrylic.  At least it looks like a rose!

    It came out lovely, Karen! We're all going to have to take an "oil" workshop~ it's definitely different from acrylics!

    Thanks Christy, I agree, I got pretty frustrated with oils so I'm back to Acrylics... :)

    Thanks Angela! A rose looks so easy to do at first but I found it very challenging to not overdo it!
