A common sight in Provence, the poppy fields! I always loved this flower growing up...we don't see it much around here but I remember when I was growing up seeing fields and fields of it!
This really is one of your best Karen!! I love the almost cubist brushwork that suggests the poppies, I think is the best way to paint them!!
ReplyDeleteHello Karen:) I agree with Azra! A beautiful painting with stunning colors. I saw the other paintng on the challenge site too and loved that one too, but this one is even more beautiful because of the lots of red poppies.
