We finished a 5-day life figure pose last week.  I was glad to get both light and shadow sides as I was working on bringing those colors out and showing the bright light coming down on the model from above.

We just finished a 5-day pose in Life Figure class.  The pose was a challenge for the model to hold as it was not the most comfortable.  I really like how it turned out though so I'm happy she stuck with it!  Finally getting to paint at the Academy has been so much fun, I'm spending a lot more time on paintings and it's really fun to see how far you can take it.
